hiya.. long time never blog here properly.. my foot is much much much better.. thank God!! :) went out for church.. met jon ng on 31.. and reached church at 4.48pm.. NOT late as usual.. service started at 5pm la.. jenson and weiren reached abt 5pm lor.. service was great as usual.. at the end sing I have decided to follow Jesus.. totally nice la..

Life is a series of decisions. We make our decisions and eventually, it will be our decisions that make us.

3 Reasons why we should not be double minded:

1. A double minded man is unstable.

haha.. played dota this afternoon for the first time in many many days... my team lost but surprisingly i got individual second.. lol.. aniwae, todae i was generally quite free.. feel that i wasted the day..

started reading The Republic by Plato.. confusing book.. it's hard to read..
not like story book la.. aniwae, tmr going training.. haha.. then thursdae go bugis watch shark tale.. those who want to watch meet us at bugis mrt station at 2.30pm on thurs..

haha.. i have been receiving many complaints abt me not updating topplehat. or rather teh short entries.. abt sacrificing quality for quantity.. so i shall do a long one todae..

had training in the morning where i totally screwed up selection la.. then went for lunch.. ate alot.. got back home and then bathe lor. then now come and blog..

haha.. i want to talk abt Bush and Kerry.. November 2 draws nearer and nearer...
Bush is screwing up.. and things definitely do NOT look gd for him.. first there's the missing 380tonnes of explosive in Iraq and then the Halliburton contracts..

well i'd like to see Bush continue as president.. but i cannot vote.. haha.. okie.
i shall move on to more important things.. like getting myself a drink..

haha.. just finished watching SI.. oh well, maia is out la.. so now left so little gd singers.. taufik is the only ok one i think.. aniwae, i am gonna do some reading now.. tmr still got training leh.. 10-1.. sigh at SGCC.. ceiling collapse still wanna train(ask me on msn if u dunno wad happened la).. five dae work week means no 5km run on saturdae i hope.. lol.. i'm eating bread now cos i feeling hungry.. dun feel like playing dota todae so... haha.. shall stick to reading for now.. lol.. can someone tell me wad to bring on mondae for the ccal camp??

sigh.. todae started off with NE quiz.. got quite a okie score la.. then class interaction.. then had talk by DHM2 and then recess.. after recess was AEP.. where i was attacked like crazy.. then verify marks.. and then we had training at ajc lor.. haha.. it was super BORING.. veri hot there la.. and there were only TWO courts.. and aniwae, we're training there cos the ceiling at SGCC fell down and nearly killed kenneth(sec2 la..) and so we cannot train there.. haha.. looks like the place is falling apart.. lol.. but ajc sux.. the courts sux la... so slippery somemore.. then i was super hungry la.. aniwae me and cx teamed up to play james hill.. we lost 10-9.. sigh.. national player wad.. wad can i say?? haha..

i felt hungry and tired la.. still need 70mins to get home from there lor.. i was starving when i got home la.. ate ALOT.. haha.. and kept drinking water cos i have sore throat la.. think i will fall sick by tmr lor.. aniwae, tmr still have 5km.. i can't wait for 1 Nov.. 5 day work week!! i'm sure many ppl share the same sentiments.. haha.. i dun see the point of running 5km lor.. u play squash to get fit.. not get fit to play squash...

and marquez has a new book!! it's still in spanish though.. Memories of My Melancholy Whores.. the book hasn't been translated into english yet.. haha.. i just realised his books rock.. haha...
and also, i just backed out of a dota game.. cos i thot the teams were too uneven.. haha..

well todae woke up and was still sick.. sigh.. my head and throat hurt.. but luckily not as bad as yesterdae... well.. i am super careless for this whole ct lor.. for math i missed 10marks worth of questions.. and then chem the pH question and then other subjects all wasted marks la.. sigh.. aniwae my marks are all like so lousy.. sigh.. expected better from myself.. in the sense tat not how much i get but rather abt me not making stoopid mistakes.. sigh..

madness la.. just cos i got 48/50 in chem then whole class come and strip me.. sian..

haha.. this morning i woke up and wished i were dead.. the back of my head hurt like crazy.. my throat too... i was shivering when walking on the streets in the morning.. dunno wad happened la.. sigh.. then my whole body was aching.. think it's dehydration.. sigh.. cos yesterdae drank very little water.. some ate alot of heaty stuff at the movies.. well.. sigh.. but i still went to sch la..

at sch.. was like pure torture.. sigh.. we watched the movie cool runnings.. was very nice.. quite moved by it.. got back results.. well for chinese overall as in the whole year, i got 48.. 48 for Semester 1 and 48 for semester 2.. i think i'll drop to normal chinese next year.. with this type of marks i could appeal.. but wads the point?? haha.. i shall just take normal chinese lor.. i dun feel sad.. actually i feel a little relieved.. haha.. physics got 30.5/50.. luckily i din get lower.. cos miss huang told me the wrong hints.. she said pressure no need to study for open ended.. so i didn't and in the end half the open ended questions were on pressure.. sigh.. well for physics i wasted 4 marks on stupid mistakes.. and the stoopidity is comparable to pH one.. sigh... then ss got 18/25 lor.. quite average mark.. cos i had to rush the last two questions.. sigh.. should have written faster la.. haha..

then i skipped third lang.. felt like dying on the spot liao.. got home and then slept for 2 hours.. then woke up and now i feel much better although not fully recovered... sigh... oh well..

tonite i shall play dota lor.. dunno why.. after talking to a fren, felt that my time could be better spent.. sigh.. aniwae, i am a psl.. yay.. haha.. well training dates are on Nov 9, 21, 27-28 Dec.. haha..

the back of my head still hurts.. must zzz by 10.30pm tonite..

this morning.. woke up.. then went for cell.. met kezhong at s11.. lol.. then after cell and b4 service, decided to maybe start playing dota. lol.. jenson pass me the discs on mondae hor.. haha.. then service lor.. then come home.. watched man utd vs birmingham.. 0-0 draw.. but i must say that birmingham has quite a strong team now.. with gronkjaer, yorke, heskey, cunningham, upson and savage.. all not bad players.. they were veri gd players last time.. but now out of form.. but they played veri well todae.. haha.. just unlucky for man utd not to win..

mondae ice-skating still dunno how.. may skip lor.. haha. then tmr going to visit grandparents.. at boon lay!! totally at the west.. from east to west la.. haha.. fun lor.. another long train ride.. meanwhile, reading the weird book.. haha.. it seriously is weird la.. lol.

haha. PH!!! alrite.. this morning went out to library.. borrowed one marquez book, one cryptography book and one geary book.. lol.. lost track of time there la.. went to bishan.. haha. went into sch.. saw some sec1 carrying a pot of flowers.. haha.. he muz be taking the floral arrangement iep la.. i was like almost bursting into laughter. cos like he looked so weird carrying flowers and walking.. mainly due to his height!! haha.. sorrie la. should not make fun of ppl's height.. alrite.. then had free lunch.. lol.. nice. haha. then went off to meet xinrui and wangting..

in the end we ended up watching sky captain and the world of tomorrow instead of white chicks.. haha. and sky captain was nice lor.. seriously.. the show was funny la.. although it required so intelligence to understand the humour. when at the end sky captain said lens cap.. haha. most ppl din catch it cos it was the last thing of the movie.. haha.. but it was funny and nice too!! haha.

after that went home.. and xinrui had to alight at eunos.. when we reached eunos rite, xinrui was like explaining to me all abt inertia and about how the train moves and u don't.. so i din remind him.. and he missed his stop! haha. im evil lor.. :p

tmr have training from 10 to 1 at sgcc la.. the stoopid country club. haha. then now cell how??
sigh.. i will just have to hurry down after training..

advice of the day.. if u're shopping, u'll have to buy something for me.. cos my bdae is on Nov 9.. haha.. same as keefe! lol..

sigh.. had chem la.. went sch in the morning.. went to amcs.. and taught like over 10ppl there chem.. headed to sch and took the paper which was actually quite okie la. but i screwed up!! ph question.. sigh.. wasted 4 marks la. i was like super careless and retard la.. FIND CONCENTRATION THEN NEGATIVE LOG.. DUN NEGATIVE LOG the NO. of MOLS! sigh.. just hope i can pass la.. which i think may be highly unlikely.. then had 2hours of lit remedial... hope i can pass lit too..

haha. i was thinking of hosting my own blog.. sigh.. tested out apache 1.3 and 2.0 but seems veri electricity consuming lor.. haha.. so thot of using like xanga, blog-city or tblog.. haha. dun really noe la.. now trying out lor.. the different hosting.. haha..

aniwae todae math was ok.. but i made 2 stoopid mistakes costing me 8 marks.. although it was a blessing in disguise.. haha. then bio was like so short la.. as in we had so much time.. the paper difficulty was above average la.. haha.. the paper was short though.. if only we could transfer some of that time to physics..

Status: 6/8 cts failed.

haha. copying in common test??? c'mon la.. u shouldn't.. although i noe who u are.. seriously.. it's not fair to the guy u're copying from and besides, i screwed up my semester one too. but din copy.. so u should just try ur best and take this as a lesson if u haven study.. just remember to be more disciplined next time..

alrite.. moving on.. higher chinese paper was quite hard la.. lucky i could finish in time.. haha. then physics.. i feel so cheated la.. miss huang say Pressure only come out for mcq.. so o level 10 year series i only went thru quickly the questions for pressure.. and in the end like half the open-ended questions were on pressure!!! how could she lor.. sigh. nvm la.. i made alot of careless mistakes also.. like got one question, they ask for the kinetic energy. i found it liao.. but thot they were asking velocity.. so went on to find velocity.. i have loss like 10 marks alreadi la.. mainly cos i had to rush thru last 3 pages of the test and tat is where numerous careless mistakes creep in.. just hope i can pass..

btw, weiren din do the last page of physics la.. he missed it completely!! we were laughing abt it at macs todae.. leon, xinrui, weiren and me went to macs after physics ct.. haha.. and after that we went back to sch.. studied bio in class.. then moved to dining hall there to study math and then library to continue math la.. haha. followed xinrui to get his files(chem and bio).. haha.. and mrs lim din give us any hints!! haha. she just said the usual.. go thru everything again.. lol.. we left the library at abt 5.20pm lor..

sigh.. i thot i could do well in triple sciences.. now looks like for physics that is impossible liao.. so muz work extra hard for chem and bio liao.. no more slip-ups.. no more room for error!!
sigh. as expected i screwed up this cts liao.. now muz go practice for math and mug for bio. haha. no choice.. i look forward to the freedom after cts.. and also to the hols.. when i must seriously improve myself in all subjects.. there will be no room for error next year!!

alrite.. i woke up at 8.45am.. wanting to mug. however, i switched on the tv to CNN.. and guess wad? Kerry-Bush debate was on.. so i watched from 9am to 11.30am.. from 9am to 10.30am was the actually debate and then 1 hour for analysis.. i must say, after Bush's poor performance at the first debate, this second one has shown that Bush has beaten Kerry. it was a very gd debate. while each side claims that they have won, it is true that it was a very close debate.. Bush was much more aggresissive. He came out an attacked Kerry's points.. and Kerry's track record finally caught up with him.. and Kerry was relatively defensive. although voters voted for a 46-45 Kerry win, i disagree.. As the president said to Kerry, you can run, but u can't hide. this is so true. and aniwae, i thot Kerry's point of import of drugs from Canada was gd.. that definitely helped him win a few points.

Bush said Kerry was trying to deny his 20-year Senate record of voting for tax increases. "You can run but you can't hide," he said. The next debate will be on next wednesdae at Tempe, Arizona and will be focusing on domestic issues..

haha.. then went for lunch with marcus, jenson and jon ng.. after that went for cell and then service and after service met Pauleon.. and spore army security is so slack!!

haha. alrite.. morning had math.. which was revision.. was glad to say that i could do all the revision questions.. haha. correctly.. lol.. then pe la.. where we played floorball. yay!

my team rox lor.. xinrui, marcus, kwuan fu and me.. got top la.. won 4 out of 4 games.. haha.. in the league la.. lol.. nearest team only had 8 points.. we had 12!! best team out of 8 teams!! yeah...
here's how we played.. haha.. marcus play as last man.. just clear the ball if too dangerous.. haha.. the xinrui drift around the centre.... i play left and kwuan fu play right.. haha.. then get the ball, pass to kwuan fu who dribbles up.. then he crosses and i shoot.. sigh.. kwuan fu scored three in all while me and xinrui both scored 2 each.. haha.. i veri wasted lor.. todae off form.. i hit the post dunno how many times la.. got one i whack super hard and it totally rebounded super hard off the post.. sigh.. all my shots were so close to goal.. ah.. only 2 went in.. haha.. aniwae, we won 3-0, 1-0, 2-1, 1-0.. haha.. aiyah.. todae i off form.. but kwuan fu was totally on todae la.. haha. gd job man. aniwae our team rox lor.. haha. :)

after that had chinese.. mainly revision. then recess la.. after that had chem. haha. quite normal la todae. lol. then cle lor.. cca verification.. haha.. then after that met mrs albar.. abt lit.. now yiding says he has my lit file but he dunno where it is.. sigh.. i need it!! for revision!! haha.

then went for lunch at S11.. with jheeva, weiren, jenson, marcus, jon ng and linus.. pure torture.. when i laugh, jheeva says, " Benedict laugh so we must all laugh cos he so cool.. " then everyone will go "ah ha ha".. lol. then after lunch we walked to mrt via j8.. and guess wad?? we met wu lao shi!! sigh.. haha.. then she purposely ask me for my number also... lol. it was total madness la..

alrite.. then went home on the train.. where jheeva, marcus, linus and jon ng continued this madness. haha.

well it just struck me that cts start tomorrow.. beginning with eng and ss.. haha. both that dun need much preparing.. need to be off to mug la.. aiyah.. just reached home.. haha.

oh no.. after much thinking.. i have realised my life has been moving too fast.. sometimes i cannot even remember what happened just two daes ago.. it's like i'm rushing thru my life... not taking time to enjoy and aprreciate the sights and not taking time to treasure friendships...

i have been blind.. blind to this beautiful world God created... the ppl of this world.. the plants.. the greenery.. everything in this world.. i need some time off.. but cts are here.. ah.. sleepless nites again.. sometimes i think thru the nite.. why do i have to keep in this rat race??

all of us in ri have been rushing thru topic after topic, quiz after quiz, test after test, year after year.. when we finally stop to take a look and examine our friendships, we find that we have none.. we are too concentrated in studying, studying and studying.. we have no time to really forge strong friendships.. studying and working take our lives away..bit by bit by bit.. that is why we need to break away.. but society is too rigid..

we are losing our lives.. this reminds me of an article wt wrote in rt last year.. about the rat race... sometimes we just have to relfect and think if this is the life we really want...

just heard something. although it doesnt involve me, feel saddened by it..
ah.. just realised that how lucky i am.. no need to face the real world. most of us students think that being grown up is cool cos u get to do what u want.. but sadly, society normally constricts u.. and then u will have more problems than in sch.. makes me feel kinda blessed..

also, i request for the class to forgive me as i become more easily irritated.. i will try to work on that.. the reason is mainly cos of the cts.. part of me has given up cos i screwed up semester one.. but a larger part of me has made me want to just give it my best shot.. sometimes after studying, i feel disappointed in myself.. cos i took too much time to memorize or revise too little things.. it's like taking one hour to revise one topic.. that's too slow and cts are really nearing.. so hope that the class goes ez on me at this time.. :)

todae they tried to strip me again.. right after recess b4 mrs lim came in.. sherwin, gavan, yiding, jheeva and jon muk were the main ppl. others included leonard, jishun and also many others were advancing towards me.. and also ppl who watched but did nothing to help me.. i managed to get all of them off considering i was in near the middle of the class.. but my shirt was torn.. obviously some ppl think it's veri fun to continually attempt to strip me.. dun worry.. it's not sherwin.. but ppl i whom i would rather not type their names here. they are childish ppl. but i shall not hold/have any offences.. haha.. so i definitely forgive them for that.. just that if they can change.. hahaha.. ri boys supposed to be best in studies but i would clearly say that not 75% of the boys would last thru a real job if u give them one now.. hahaha. we are just too full of ourselves. u see. good results is not equals to good behaviour. also gd results also not equal to mature behaviour. being childish at times it's okie.. but during lessons.. sigh.. which brings me to my next point. haha. speed of lessons.

i loved todae's chem lesson. the part where we went thru oxidation numbers.. many ppl thot it was too fast but it seriously is at a gd speed. think we should have all lessons at this speed. as in all lessons for all subjects. mainly cos like that those who want to listen can listen. then those we want to chit chat can just talk and when they are finally done with their talk, it would be veri difficult for them to get back with the lesson. thus this would make lessons more effective. it should not be the teacher begging the students to listen but rather the students who want to listen to the teacher. this is the concept that lessons should be based on. haha. it's the student's future. they have to make their own choice. if u go to sch just cos ur parents ask u to then just tell them that u dun need sch and just drop out. no it is not a shameful thing to drop out. rather it is a gd thing cos it saves ur time, ur classmates' time(cos lessons can go faster) and the teachers' time.. we learn not to take exams.. we learn a subject becos of the curiosity/interest we have on the particular subject. many ppl are currently whining on how gd the Da Vinci Code is.. hahaha. if i had shown u books abt cryptography, u would alreadi have fallen asleep. and the thing is that cryptography is what makes the book interesting. and also that crypto involves lots of math and logic. things like functions. hahaha. and u thot we were learning functions for the ct??

hahaha. i am not trying to be some inspirational speaker.. just my thots. ignore them if u feel u that they are wrong or dun apply to u.. haha.. i'm okie with that. it's just abt how one lives his life. maybe u have another approach that works better for u.. haha.

math got lollypop!! yummy.. haha.. then chem was fun. philo we finished watching American History X.. aniwae, i dun think philo is a waste of time. rather several aspects like external reality are a waste of time but there are others which are certainly veri worth the time that we are spending on it.. do we let emotions or rationalism rule our choices?

then went to dining hall to eat. went back to class. entertained those ppl again by allowing them to attempt to strip me.. then bio was cool abt genes. just that lesson abit slow.. and time wasted by some ppl.. then cle which was abt Work Exposure programme.. haha.. no comp companies.. sian.. not going la.. lol.. then revised french with weiren. met mrs chan. revised more french till 5.30pm in sch.. came home.. ate dinner and now i'm off to bathe and then do more french! haha..

oh ya.. here's wangting on msn telling me that singapore is not ready for an idol.. haha.. told ya din i?? refer to my long ago posts.. singapore idol cannot make it.. and even if we do have true talents, the audience would not have the taste to vote correctly.. haha. and also we have like 4million ppl.. c'mon la.. vote?? lol.. just get their frens to repeatedly call in so they can make it into next round la.. hahahha..

lol.. alrite.. this morning did announcement without even seeing the script b4 hand.. yay.
then had wda ah?? oh ya.. bio.. quite ok la.. except ppl like kwuan fu, gavan and jheeva making fun of joy lim again.. then had chinese which was also quite okie..

pe was boring. watched a video.. so tiring man.. :p
recess then RE which was FUNNY!! haha..

then had chem remedial but b4 alot of ppl were trying to strip me.. sherwin and jheeva wanted to set me up.. but i got away.. haha.. and left chem remedial early to ensure my own survival.. :)
aniwae had one mcq wrong in my that ws.. haha.. mainly cos i was rushing to do ahead of the class so at least i get practice as in not only listen to answers.. trust me. it was quite ez to do that with ppl like gavan, sherwin, ming kiat and kwuan fu around.. they are pretty helpful in slowing down the class so that i can do a little ahead..

but seriously ah.. the reason i dun talk alot in classes is cos that i think that lessons in sch are meant for u to learn rite? so u should just keep quiet and absorb as much as u can.. if at the end u dun understand then ask la.. at the end.. not like slowing the lesson down the whole time.. haha.. dun worry. this is not refering to a specific person.. as in in general la..like in jc where they have lectures then tutorials.. think that is what we should have in secondary schs also la.. it would definitely be more effective.. or not like now.. lessons are all heavily lagged by ppl who ask things that were alreadi mentioned.. sigh.. haha..

Silver.Mirror.Test/Tollen's.Reaction

so fun rite todae the silver thingy. i shall give instructions on how to do that. but use them at ur own risk cos i will NOT take responsibility in any of ur acts of stupidity. :)

now on to business (note that these instructions may not exactly be what happened in class but will still get the same results:p ):

Silver Nitrate (AgNO3) 0.10M
Dissolve 17g of this in distilled water to make 1litre of solution.

Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) 0.80M
Dissolve 22.4g of this in distilled water to make 500ml of solution.

Dextrose (C6H12O6) 0.25M
Dissolve 11.2g of this in distilled water to make 250ml of solution.

Ammonia (NH3) 15M

Nitric Acid (HNO3) 16M

And also 125 ml Round bottom flask, 150ml beaker and stopper.

Place 30ml of Silver Nitrate into the beaker.
Add Ammonia drop by drop with stirring until the brown precipitate completely dissolves.
Add 15ml of potassium Hydroxide.
If the brown precipitate reforms, add more ammonia and stir till all of it is gone.
Pour 3ml of Dextrose solution into the Round bottom flask.
Add the contents of the beaker into the flask.
Put the stopper on.
Shake the flask so that the liquid comes into contact with the entire inner surface of the flask.
Silver should form in a minute.
Continue shaking for about 4 minutes to ensure that there is a silver mirror coating.
Uncap the stopper and dispose of the solution. (cos silver nitride is highly explosive)
Rinse the flask for about 5 times using distilled water.
After the flask has dried, stopper it.
Keep it stoppered to prevent oxidation.
And there u have it, a silver flask!
can be used for ornamental purposes!! :)

If you want to clear the Silver out, wash the flask with Nitric Acid.
Be careful throughout the experiment because Ammonia fumes are toxic.

Note that u have to rinse the flask well to prevent formation of Silver Nitride or not BOOM!
Also, The Tollens' test is important in carbohydrate chemistry, for proof of structure. The test is specific for reducing sugars. Fructose is also capable of reducing Tollens' solution, and is thus classified a "reducing sugar". Under basic conditions fructose is converted into glucose.

For a 50ml Flask: Use,
10ml of Silver Nitrite Solution
7ml of Potassium Hydroxide solution
2ml of Dextrose solution

For a 250ml Flask: Use,
60ml of Silver Nitrite Solution
30ml of Potassium Hydroxide solution
6ml of Dextrose solution

For a 500ml Flask: Use,
120ml of Silver Nitrite Solution
60ml of Potassium Hydroxide solution
12ml of Dextrose solution

Anyone interested in making A Bombs??
MSN me but u will need Uranium-235 which is extremely rare.
A subsitute of using Plutonium is also acceptable. However, Plutonium itself is also very rare although not as rare as U-235.

i have been having alot of headaches recently and the thing is i just read this!

aniwae.. todae in the morning had physics which was generally a mess. cannot even remember wad we did for physics. oh ya. pressure. okie. then had chinese. also quite boring. english was free period and so they converted it into a ss lesson so that tmr dun need to have ss remedial la. and wad did we do?? haha. we did a source based question. haha. with the rp article as the source. lol. i shall post a pic of it after this.. haha.. nice.. lol.. we had chem after recess but i had a veri bad headache. sigh. din hear much of wda miss tsang was saying.. but managed to understand redox la.. cos most of the lesson was just repetition.. like ppl asking questions that were alreadi answered cos they weren't listening just now.. hate that la. mainly cos slows down the lesson.. and this happens in almost every subject.. sigh. then chem had tollens reaction. haha. math was okie lor. then french was veri tiring.. lol. tmr is man utd vs ferbachne. or something.. lol.. a turkish club! yay. aniwae, shall post some stuff later on.. so watch this space!!

morning.. woke up and somehow din feel like coming to sch.. maybe cos it's mondae la..
alrite.. had house meeting which was a waste of time.. introducing new house capt for 50mins??
lol. then math test la.. die liao.. i definitely fail.. had a mistake in one of my concepts which destroyed two questions and i din manage to do the last one.. crap.. i thot f(kx) --> (x, y/k) but actually it's --> (x/k, y).. sigh.. muz work harder for ct or not die again.. :(

then had chinese.. haha.. quite fun lor.. then go for lunch.. english did some worksheet during the lesson cos of the oral.. physics went thru pop quiz.. got 11/16 only.. sigh.. :(

lit was okie la.. at least i din feel like falling asleep.. after lit then aswin say tomorrow want to do announcement for the cip. lol.. ya la.. wadeva lor.. then went home..

the whole dae todae in sch, all the dota freaks were attempting to assasinate me.. by punching and poking me la.. marcus went as far as hitting me in the throat!! to all the dota freaks out there, two words.. uneducated minds. u see ah.. i never do anything after the ping flood on fridae la.. and btw, ping flooding is such a basic form of hacking.. it is a DoS attack. like so ez la.. not even at advanced level like moi.. :p haha.. then u all still want to attack me.. lol. DoS now! haha. my hand went numb from all that punching la.. i am angry now.. lol. :)

haha.. okie.. u might be thinking why i am blogging at this time.. lol.. cos i just got home.. haha.. in the morning.. i woke up at 7am.. then got rdy to go for training.. i looked at the sky and it looked cloudy. so there was a battle inside of me.. cos if i go and it rains.. then i would have wasted time travelling.. but if i dun go and it dun rain.. then i die.. haha.. so i practically sat there for 10mins.. finally i managed to convince myself to go by repeatedly saying to myself, " Just go.. todae last training b4 ct.. Just go.. Go.. Go... just go la.. " haha.. took another 5miins of repeating b4 convincing myself.. lol.. so i went lor. on the train i read TKAM.. haha.. first time ever la..

then i reached earliest.. training starting at 9am. i reach at 8.55am.. haha.. then coach was late la.. he reach at 9.30am and even better he said since todae last training b4 cts, muz do 6.4km instead of 5km.. everyone except me and kelvin was grumbling like shit.. haha.. but of course no use la.. i din run for so long.. in the end had a cramp in my right calf so had to walk 3.2km out of the 6.4.. sigh.. but lucky i not last.. third last only.. considering i din run for over 6weeks... then headed home and had lunch lor.. din do much studying yet.. sigh.. i'm getting lazy la.. :( nvm la.. i shall and must study tonite but that is only b4 or after man utd vs tottenham :P

haha.. todae long day la.. morning woke up.. decided not to do yesterdae's hairstyle cos ppl say it's funny and also decided not to go with the one i had last nite cos wt said it was not gd.. as in against sch rules.. lol.. so i did side parting again la..

then on to math then bio.. actually nothing much.. but i have realised that bio is not actually funny.. as in like joy lim's jokes are not realli funny.. except that the class being led by wangting, jheeva and kwuan fu are mocking mrs lim... as in laughing at her and not the jokes.... laughing at the way she speaks.. and i dun realli think that's veri fair to her lor...

recess.. when i got back to class.. there was a confusion to weather got chem remedial anot.. and 3i ppl... not all la.. some.. being the GOOD friends they are chose not to believe me when i say dun have.. yes.. i am that unworthy of ur trust.. so dun ask me anything in the future...

okie. then had math la.. which was generally boring and exciting... as in starting boring.. then exciting then start to get boring again. aniwae, after that had pe lor.. haha.. played 3 matches of hockey, my team consisting of marcus, xinrui, kwuan fu and me, we won all 3 matches by 6-0 against keefe's team.. then 4-1 against edward's team... then 2-1 against yiding's team.. haha.. out of all 12 points, i scored 9, then xinrui scored 2 and kwuan fu 1.. haha.. marcus din score.. but he was defending most of the time la... okie.. then chinese.. quite slack lor..

haha.. then wu lao shi confiscated 3 of keefe's sweets cos he was like playing with them.. then keefe purposely at first give that innocent look.. haha.. the type of look where he like makes his eyes smaller and act innocent like Pri 1 kid like that.. and when that din work, he changed into the unhappy look... haha.. so as to get attention... and then he like keep insisting he wants his sweets back.. i mean c'mon la.. 3 sweets. worth like 30Cents or less la.. and his fault aniwae wad.. why play with them in class?? aniwae, he like just sulked there so as to draw attention to himself... sigh.. attention seeking.. i think he wanted to act unhappy mainly cos of pride.. cos as the supposed "cool", "strong" and "smart" guy he claims he is, he cannot just not react to a teacher taking his sweets... he had to project his alleged coolness to the class.. haha.. wad can i say man... definitely attention seeking.. which proves that he IS in fact a hypocrite... aniwae, most of us are at some time or other usually for short periods.. but for him, it's mostly likely part of him alreadi... he's oscar worthy... all i can say is that he's bound by lots of stereotypes and mindsets... not racial ones.. but rather society's mindsets..

haha.. after recess had chem.. quite boring.. got full marks for not unmarked assignment.. haha.. aniwae it doesnt matter... lol.. 7m for rememberance.. lol..

i managed to get thru todae and finish everything that's due todae... chinese speech went ok.. feeling a sudden sadness now.. dunno why.. sigh.. shall do a long entry then..

haha.. todae i shall do a long entry cos mainly i dun feel like studying cos feeling very very tired.

first.. we had bio.. went thru heart stuff lor.. quite interesting la.. but average only.. go to other ppl's blogs to read more abt it.. mainly cos they're obsessed with mrs joy lim...
then was chinese.. oh no.. i have to do the chinese speech tomorrow.. somebody give me a topic..

alritety.. i have broken my record.. i did not blog yesterdae and that means my streak of blogging everydae for more than 90days has been broken... haha.. oh well...

alright.. yesterdae morning i woke up and my left knee hurt from hockey... so din go for training.. again thanks to the numerous "kind souls" who helped in the destruction of my body... then spent the time re-revising dynamics(physics) and Mole concept(chem).. dunno why but i feel very insecure.. whenever i finish a topic i still feel like i'm not ready... sigh.. then went for service.. talking about how we should lead our life with respect to the new vision... the importance of a vision.. and stuff like that... then came home and arsenal drew 2-2 with bolton.. and in this match, i realised that arsenal are in fact cheaters... let me point out 2 evidence to show u that... there are more but 2 should be enuff.. alrite, when arsenal was 1-0 up and the bolton striker headed for goal, the ball beat everyone and was headed for the net.. however, ashley cole was on the line and he tried to use his HAND to push the ball over the bar... the header however was too powerful and it still went into the goal for the equaliser... use of hands warrants a yellow card but he was not even cautioned.. the second evidende.. arsenal 2-1 up.. a bolton guy hit the ball lightly against Lauren.. the ball went out.. the bolton guy was going to pick the ball when Lauren INTENTIONALLY stuck out a foot to trip him.. the bolton guy nearly fell but lost his balance.. he shoved Lauren and arsenal was awarded a free kick.. some of u arsenal fans may not believe that Lauren did it on purpose.. however if u watch the replay u will believe that becos of the fact that Lauren was already a substantial distance from the bolton guy... such play from Lauren would and should have at least warranted a yellow card... so there u have it.. arsenal the cheaters...

now i just woke up.. gonna get some breakfast then study till evening then have family dinner.. yay.. :) i have been inspired to come online less often becos i heard that "someone's" internet is down and that led me to think that why am i so dependent on the net??? i am at the same time bored so could anyone lend me a nice book to relieve my stress... so much to learn.. so little time..

okie.. todae was usual... morning had math then chem.. both quite okie la.. then philo.. watched american history which totally rox with the guy's mouth on the curb.. would talk more abt it if i had not watched another movie todae.. lol.. read on la.. bio was boring and cle was abt bgr so i'm like er.. ok...

Mystic River

It is one of the best movies i have ever watched in the genre it is in...
I feel so able to relate to the characters.. so it's jimmy, sean and dave..
kids at the start.. shall not do much elaboration.. then dave gets put into a police car.. except later we find out that the guys are abductors... dave was used as a child pros for 4daes.. finally escaped... fast forward to 25years later.. jimmy's daughter dies.. sean is a cop.. he's put on the case.. dave kills someone.. a child molester.. however, everyone seems to believe that he killed jimmy's daughter, katie.. so jimmy takes things int his own hands.. kills dave... however, sean finds out the killers are not dave.. the death was an accident.. or so it seems...

here's a quote from jimmy: My daughter was murdered. They put a gun to her. As we stand here, she's on an autopsy slab getting cut open by scalpels and chest spreaders, and you're talking to me about domestic fucking responsibility?

another one from jimmy: I know he was taken in by the cops this morning. I know he saw Katie the night she was murdered. Didn't tell me about it until after the cops questioned him. And I know he's got a hand that looks like it's been punching a fucking wall. Is there anything else I should know?

this story totally deserves the oscars it received.. it's veri reflective.. leaves alot for the viewer to interpret at the end.. many symbolic gestures in the movie.. need someone to discuss it with..
u should watch it if u havent... u are missing out on alot.. this movie is also veri reflective on life.. roles that we play in life.. roles that different ppl play in a community.. the characters are especially well defined.. mystic river.. one of the best i've seen so far.. exceptional...

Sometimes I think, I think all three of us got in that car...

lol.. this morning i woke up and then went to sch like half dead.. still feeling veri tired..
aniwae, first lesson was physics.. went to junior block.. dropped the parachute with the egg... haha... the egg din break.. our group's time was 9.81seconds la.. haha.. quite long la.. stay in the air for sooo long liao.. haha.. then was chinese.. haha.. i am gonna have chinese remedials on fridae 12.45pm.. lol.. for an hour.. haha... then was english lor.. marked SAT papers... highest score for my SAT so far la.. 70%.. haha.. then recess.. ate at canteen lor.. then go back class liao... where everyone was blaming me becos muz hand up chem file and assign todae... and i'm like.. er.. my fault ah??? haha.. then xinrui and weiren hatched this evil plan to strip me.. so i quickly left class with sherwin to go lab lor... on the way, saw shaosheng who was abt to throw the egg away... haha.. the egg which was used for physics earlier in the dae la... i took it lor.. haha...

then chem was veri exciting.. so many ppl breaking so many things.. kinda reminds me of when we did titration... haha.. and aswin anihow stir the mixture.. got some of the copper oxide and sulphuric acid into my mouth la!! thot i would die.. rinsed my mouth forever.. haha...
then we had math lor.. mrs chan was back in sch from her sore eyes.. haha... start new topic.. and by that time, everybody was falling asleep liao... the class was super quiet.. lol...
after sch then we went macs lor... we as in wangting, weiren, lenoard and xinrui la..
ate lunch then went for french... got back french test.. sigh.. my listening and composition were veri screwed up.. compo i wrote out of point!!! haha.. but my compre was veri gd la... the compre where like most ppl failed in.. haha.. i had full marks lor.. and the other one i had higher marks than most ppl... lol.. but overall veri lousy la my mark.. sigh.. shall work harder.. end of year coming soon...

then i came home lor.. train ride was boring as usual... but then when i just reached home rite, had double vision!!! quite scarry.. closed my eyes for awhile.. and now it's okie liao la... phew...
haha.. man utd's UEFA match is on thurs morning la.. haha.. tomorrow morning is arsenal vs PSV and Chelsea vs PSG... lol..

and also, there are only 23daes to common tests... cannot waste animore time.. must work hard NOW!!!!! must get myself to work la... even i feel veri tired... sigh.. shall draw up maybe a study timetable todae la.. die... not enuff time... ahhhh........

hahahhahaha... i just realised that it's fun to be stupid.. lol...
we shall fast forward to the end of sch cos during sch nothing much happened except mrs chan was not here cos of her swollen eyes....

okie.. so i spent my time walking around and talking to people from 3.15 to 5.00pm.. quite fun la.. then at 5 i played match with changxun as a warm up.. haha.. then left for novena to wait for james lam... he said we could meet at 7pm then his dad send us there... we waited.. then 7.18 he still haven come out from tuition.. since my mtach at 7.30, i set off alone for the place lor.. and i have never been there b4 cos mast year i had a busted knee so could not play la... okie.. so i rushed to toa payoh bus interchange... the time was 7.25pm.. as i knew SAFRA was within walking distance, i wanted to get to it quickly la... so din take bus although i knew which bus to take la... i walked like crazie... and at toa payoh stadium there were two ways, left or right...
my mind told me it was left but gut feeling was right.. relying more on my mind, i chose left and that was a bad mistake. i walked forever, thinking that i was nearing SAFRA and only when i saw the golf course did i realise i was lost.. haha.. smart boy...

so from there, i tried to establish my location.. however, it was impossible due to the signal jammers that were put in place by the russian secret service.. being an experienced field agent for the CIA, i immediately continued walking.. however the terrain was totally unfamiliar and soon i crossed to PIE using an overhead bridge. ended up at whampo... the craziest place on earth.. the time was 8pm.. i managed to contact one of my subordinates and realised that my opponent was not there too.. it was a race of time.. whoever reaches wins.. at 8.10pm, my opponenet reached and so got a walkover... i waited for a taxi and then got home.. ending off an eventful day...

this whole thing may seem a simple story.. however many questions are to be raised.. i shall answer them with a FAQ here:

1. As an experienced field agent, why did u have such a bad sense of direction?
-My compass was being controlled by the Russian Secret Service. There was no equipment i could use. I was working behind enemy lines.

2.As the CIA's finest agent, why did u not ask for directions?
-I did ask for directions. However, the Russian SS were in disguise and were fooling me. Of the 13 ppl i asked, at least 4 different directins were conveyed to me. As i was unfamiliar with the terrain, there was no way i could make a judgement on who to trust and who not to.

3.U could have got on a taxi in the first place.
-Today, many ppl were praying for some chinese thing. and so there were very few taxis.. trust me.. it takes nearly forever to get a taxi.

4.So did u feel disappointed on ur failure?
-actually, no... it was a fun experience getting lost i must say in all honesty. and i am okie with not being able to get in to the next round of the tournament. cos this was a life experience, not something that happens everydae and i am more than willing to trade a place in the tournament for this.

5. U stoopid fool. CIA??? hahaha..
-okay.. i admit that i was stupid.. but it was fun.. a moment of stupidity for fun is definitely worth it.. haha.. i feel a slight disappointment. however all that has now gone away. it was fun and thank God for this experience. Thank God for this life experience.

Here are some fast facts:
i walked a total of 3.8km after i checked on the street directory.. actually, it was much further considering the numberous turns i made..
i arrived home at 8.45pm.
the opponent advances to the next round if u still din gather.. lol..

aniwaes, there's thunder but the skies are clear.. weird eh?? dunno la.. hope it rains.. so hot la this afternoon... tomorrow go cell group meeting and then service lor... no training tomorrow.. haha...

now courts under renovation to include air-con.. but dunno why they also suspend training at macritchie... haha.. but gd lor.. dun need to run 5km..

aiayh.. like "some ppl", i'm feeling tired... and unlike most ppl out there, i'm bored...
why?? u ask.. okay.. well, i've been at home the whole dae todae....

okay.. so it was 4.30pm la.. and i was moping the floor.. then i knocked over the pail... and there was a flood! yay.. :) spent forever cleaning it up... then i was washing rice... dunno why.. i dropped the pot... and everything was on the.. u noe where la.. FLOOR!! aiyah.. spent lots of time cleaning that up too.. and so.. finally, i decided to turn on the comp and blog... and so here i am... haha.. :)

okay.. played abit of TOD 2 todae lor... then now wangting who just reach home from ripb exco meeting is telling me that i'm so fast but need to train up characters.. haha.. it's just me to not train characters... ended ff8 with Squall my highest level character only at Lv 69/70... haha.. selphie at lv 12.. :p

aniwae.. wangting telling me TOD2 tips now.. prolly try to get to Disc 2 or 3 by tomorrow... then quickly finish the game la... haha.. tonite i will do work.. sigh.. i mean i HOPE i will do work.. lol.. got SI.. although i dun like it... but my sis will turn on the tv and i'll get distracted encore... sigh..

haha.. todae was veri fun la... morning i woke up at 9.30am.. ate breakfast then played TOD 2... got stuck at the island of temptation... at first couldn't beat Undine... but after a few tries then can liao la... haha.. then after that i passed the island liao la... then reach the big city.. lol...

okie.. then went out for lunch with my parents.. and then shopping at tampines mall... bought the nike water bottle... blue colour one.. haha... and also 2 pairs of shoes.. one for going out and the other for squash la... after that met my sis then we go watch bourne supremacy...

the show was veri nice la... i'm thinking of getting the books to read... haha.. jason bourne is just so cool... haha... aniwae, after movie then go for dinner.... after i came home... got the letter from SAFRA...

haha.. for the squash tournament la... i playing on first dae... 13th of Sept... at 7.30pm la... dunno my opponent yet.. cos they haven put up the website.. quickly la... haha.. if my opponent too gd then i won't go... lol.. :P haha.. i will go one la.. just go for experience.. haha.. most probably lose.. it's Men's la... that means all ages.. haha... nice shot lor... :)

aniwae, so unlucky.. my match dae is on this coming monday... no time to re-string my racket... my string tension is like crap now la... getting looser and looser... dunno why... then cause my drop shots to go crazie... last time can drop from back court.. now keep hitting the tin.. crap lor.. haha... just hope my string doesn't snap during my match.. or not die la... and my eye guard also abit blur.. lol... must go clean it... haha... i never play for so long.. think i will lose la... but nvm lor.. haha... just try my best.. although currently my backhand is veri sucky and the tension of my racket string is like crap so my drops are virtually not where i want them.. as in too high or too low... sigh... :( haha.. hope i get my strokes back by mondae lor...

aniwaes, now i dunno wad to do.. i plan to finish all my hol hw tomorrow la... but now at nite i realli dunno do wad la... feel like reading.. but no books to read.. lol.. just finished scanning the english thing la... the speech for our editorial writing.. scanned it for wang ting.. cos i got the original copy... haha.. anyone wants it then i send u on msn lor.. just talk to me on msn... haha..

wow.. this morning woke up at 8.45am la.. so lucky i dun have training.. lol.. rp training.. "some ppl" said it was veri boring.. haha.. :)

then i looked all over the house for my ps which i couldnt find last nite.. finally found it in the storeroom... played TOD2 lor.. quite okie la the game.. but i dunno.. after awhile gets boring..
aniwae.. i played till 11.55am la.. all the while jon ng and moca calling me to settle who bring ball and pump and stuff... lol.. then i changed into class jersey.. then went to bedok mrt to meet moca, jon ng, jon muk and jenson... we took taxi to east coast park the macs la... in the end each person pay 90cents lor... haha.. we were first la.. thanks to jon ng.. want to meet so early.. haha.. after that mr and mrs chan and jordan arrived.. then shaun lim la... shaun and jordan ate lunch lor... then we sat there and talked until abt 2pm.. after that go rent bikes.. $5 for like 4 hours..
we cycled to a jetty and enjoyed the sea breeze there.. aniwae, mrs chan can't cycle.. so she and mr chan ride one bike lor... then we went to play soccer la.. on some sandy place.. haha.. my crossing was pretty off todae.. but ball skill was there.. great improvement for me after so long never play soccer and my injury... haha.. we play half way then moca had to go off for dental.. wei ren coming down after cca... so after that wei ren joined us la.. very fun la the soccer... haha.. tried to chip a penalty past jon ng.. but cos ball on sand.. hit wrong part la... went wide.. lol..

okie.. then we cycled for quite long la... bought a drink which is veri expensive la.. then we cycled to anotehr jetty.. sat there and talked and enjoy sea breeze.. then we go beat beef guo tiao la... haha... very nice to eat!! :) dunno why "some ppl" say the food at ec sux.. haha..
we cycled some more.. and it was super fun.. then go home liao lor.. feeling very tired now... aniwae, jon muk cannot cycle in a straight line la... haha... and my shins have 3 bruises thanks to jordan who kicked me 3 times in the shins during soccer.. it hurts la.. i think have some cuts also... dunno la... gonna go read Bible now la... and then sleep liao... tomorrow gonna watch mvie.. but haven decide which one yet.. haha.. either garfield, 13 going on 30 or A cinderella story.. must quickly finish my hol hw soon...

actually this post can write longer one.. but i feel tired.. so.. haha..

haha.. my computer seems abit laggy.. maybe cos too much stuff on the hard disk liao... may reformat it somedae la.. just hope Microsoft releases Longhorn quickly la... the prob abt reformatting is i have to reapply all security patches b4 i get a virus.. lol..

i woke up at 10am this morning la... found that both england and france drew in their respective world cup qualifiers... aniwae, i dloading SP 2 now.. haha.. may do the reformatting tonite..
but dunno la.. cos i din see how the starhub guy set up the wireless network.. so dun want to anyhow... haha...

then i left for my grandparents' house.. from tampines to boon lay... yay.. then down there la.. after that come home liao... went to popular... then eat dinner la.. then come home lor... quite boring la... haha.. wah.. my dload is so slow now.. 200kb/s...
